Training for social landlords in Scotland
Scottish housing is undergoing a period of unprecedented change. Boards, managers and staff within the sector face tough challenges in the coming years – you need to be sure they are fully equipped to meet them.
Hot on the heels of the credit crunch, the efficiencies agenda and radical changes within housing development comes the Housing (Scotland) Act 2010, with numerous implications for the sector, including a revision of the Scottish Housing Regulator’s role, the development of the Scottish Social Housing Charter, Right to Buy reforms and increased regulatory interest in financial management and governance. In response to this HQN has developed a range of in-house training courses for Scottish boards, managers and staff, run by Stuart Eglinton.
Highly experienced and Scottish-based, Stuart has worked with RSLs and local authorities across the country for many years. He has a broad knowledge of the sector, and has supported organisations in, for example, governance, equal opportunities and tenant participation.
Stuart is an Associate Member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development and a qualified governance assessor. His training is enjoyable, participative, and tailored to the needs of each organisation.
